Welcome to Del Rey!

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website and explore all the valuable information it has to offer. We update it regularly, so be sure to check back often for the latest news and important updates about Del Rey and the Victor Elementary School District.
One of the most common questions I hear from parents is:
“How can I help my child be more successful in school?”
There are several powerful ways you can support your child’s success here at Del Rey:
- Get Involved: Attend our monthly “Donuts with Doug” meetings to stay informed about what’s happening at school and what’s coming up. These sessions are designed specifically for parents to ask questions, share ideas, and engage in open dialogue with school leadership.
- Join a Parent Group: Become a member of the Del Rey Booster Club and help organize fun and enriching events for students and families. Or, consider joining our School Site Council or English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) to contribute your voice to school decisions and priorities.
- Volunteer at School: Whether it's helping in the classroom or assisting at school events, your time makes a difference. Research shows that when parents are involved in school, student achievement improves. At Del Rey, we welcome parent volunteers every day. Volunteer training is held monthly following “Donuts with Doug” or can be arranged individually with our School Safety Coordinator.
We are honored to partner with you in your child’s education. At Del Rey, we believe there is no greater responsibility than shaping the minds of tomorrow. We take that role seriously and work each day to ensure every student finds success.
Del Rey is a great place to be — and a great place to learn.
Warm regards,
Doug Bergquist
